HALF DUPLEX
VS. FULL DUPLEX
Half duplex and full
duplex are alternative network dialog modes. They indicate the rules that
data must follow when flowing through network media.
Half Duplex:
In the half duplex
mode, data may be either received or sent via network media, but not at
the same time.
Full Duplex:
The full duplex
allows data to be transmitted in two directions simultaneously. This is
now the most common dialog mode used in network communications.
