Engine

The engine is the source of power for a vehicle. Fuel is burned inside the engine’s combustion chamber-- a hollow area between the piston and the cylinder head. This process creates heat. The heat causes the gases in the engine to expand. When the gases inside the combustion chamber expand, the engine’s piston, crankshaft, and connecting rod convert the resultant pressure into motive power for the vehicle.
