Diesel prechamber
A pre-combustion chamber found in diesel engines. The prechamber reduces engine noise. It also plays a crucial role in starting the engine during cold weather. The glow plug protrudes into the prechamber and heats the air within. This heat, combined with the heat from generated by compression, causes the fuel to ignite.
