meals can be consumed in the berry form. Cranberries can also be consumed as
juice.
Benefits
Cranberries (whether
consumed whole in juices) help prevent infections of the urinary tract.
Their effectiveness in this regard has been demonstrated in scientific
trials. Cranberries contain substances called anthocyanadins, Anthocyanadins
prevent the growth of Escherichia coli, the bacteria which are most commonly
the culprits behind urinary tract infections.
