BANDWIDTH

 

Bandwidth is a measurement of the amount of data that a type of media can carry. At the simplest level, the flow of data is measured in bits per second, or bps. In the context of a network, the most common measurements are Mbps (megabytes per second) and Gbps (gigabytes per second).
